   Pharaoh's decree (Genesis 40:41) –
Original text: "אתה תהיה על־ביתי ועל־פיך ישׁק כל־עמי רק הכסא אגדל ממך׃"
Assumed Literal Translation: "You shall be over my house, and at your mouth all my people shall kiss (נשׁק/nâshaq). Only in respect to the throne will I be greater than you."
English Standard Version: "You shall be over my house, and all my people shall order themselves as you command. Only as regards the throne will I be greater than you"
Better Translation: "You shall be over my house, and at your word all my people shall eat. Only in respect to the throne will I be greater than you."
Although most translations render the Biblical Hebrew nâshaq as 'shall obey' or 'be ruled' by allusion from modern Hebrew 'to kiss', the word more accurately reflects its Egyptian stem which means 'shall eat' which better accords with its context.
(W. Chomsky 1969:38).

Hatshepsut with fake royal beard as Monarch
Moses' Foster-Mother
MOSES is born.
"By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden for three months by his parents,
because they saw that the child was beautiful, and they were not afraid of the king's edict."
'Faith' in God was necessary, for their action in not yielding to the government-edict put the lives of their two older children at grave risk.
He is nursed by his mother, JOCHABED, at palace expense, and at puberty ("when the child grew up") he is formally adopted and named, probably by head-strong but compassionate princess MAATKARE HATSHEPSUT-KHENMETAMUN (daughter of Pharaoh THUTMOSE I and Queen AHMOSE, i.e. 100% royal descent) (Exodus 2:1-10).

Hebrews 11:23

A Basket of Faith
The Princess' personal adoption of a Hebrew baby was a defiance of her father's public policy, but this character-attribute accords well with what we know of HATSHEPSUT. She daringly, for that time, sent a expedition to Punt (Eritrea/'horn of Africa') which brought back ivory, gold and incense trees.
