"Deliver those who are being taken away to death, and those who are staggering to slaughter, O hold them back!
If you say, 'See, we did not know this'
Does He not consider it who weighs the hearts? And does He not know it who keeps your soul?
And will He not render to man according to his work?"

Hitler blue pin– subject to continuing refinement –
Every morning: from 1942 until his death in 1945, ADOLF HITLER is given daily intravenous injections of methamphetamine by his personal physician, THEODOR MORELL, as a treatment for depression and fatigue. It is possible that the Parkinsons-like symptoms which HITLER increasingly developed from 1940 onwards were related to his use of this drug.
See: "I Am Meth"
The drug was widely distributed across rank and division, from elite forces to tank crews and aircraft personnel.
Chocolates dosed with methamphetamine were known as Fliegerschokolade ('flyer's chocolate') when given to pilots, or Panzerschokolade ('tanker's chocolate') when distributed to tank crews.
[Modern street names of Methamphetamine include: –
Blade, batu, chimichanga, cristy, critter, crystal, crystal meth, dope,
devil's dandruff, glass, hanyak, hiropon, ice, jib, kaksonjae, krank, P,
pony, quartz, rock, shabu, shards, stove top, tina, tik, tweak, ventana, vidrio.
It is often made from legal ingredients which include drain cleaner].

Lawyer Albert Battel
a member of the Nazi Party, serves as lieutenant and while stationed in Przemysl in southern Poland, the SS prepare to liquidate the Jews in the city. He gets permission from his commander, Major Max Liedtke, to block the only bridge leading into the Jewish ghetto. When the SS try to cross his men threaten to open fire. He is able to evacuate around 100 Jews into military bases where the Wehrmacht protect them.
Those who aren't evacuated, are sent to Belzec, the first extermination camp.
He is indicted for offering a loan to a Jewish collague and shaking hands with Dr. Duldig, the head of Przemysl’s Judenrat who was a friend from university. Heinrich Himmler promises to have him arrested after the war, but Battel did not know this. He is discharged in 1944 due to heart disease and is drafted into the Volkssturm, a Gemran militia fighting in the last months of the war, he is be captured by the Soviets and eventually released into West Germany.
Due to denazification he is not permitted to practice law. He dies in 1952.
In London, UK – Representatives of nine governments-in-exile i(Belgium, Czechoslovakia, Free French National Committee, Greece, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, and Yugoslavia) adopt the Declaration of St. James, that among their principal war aims is the punishment of those responsible for mass expulsion, execution of hostages, massacres, and imprisonment in occupied countries.
In Germany – HEYDRICH announces to high-ranking German civil servants,
"The Final Solution of the Jewish problem in Europe affects approximately 11 million Jews."
At the Wannsee Conference
HITLER's Table Talk records him as saying –
"The Jew has to get out of Europe... If he collapses in the course of it, I can't help there. I can see only one thing: absolute extermination (ausrottung), if they don't go of their own accord...".
HIMMLER reports –
"While the Jewish question in the Ostland can be seen as practically solved and cleansed, progress continues to be made on the clarification of this problem on other occupied territories in the east".

In the United States – US President FRANKLIN D ROOSEVELT issues Executive Order 9066 (in response to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, December 1941) which allows local military commanders to designate 'military areas' as 'exclusion zones', from which 'any or all persons may be excluded'. This is used to declare that all American citizens of Japanese ancestry are excluded from the entire Pacific coast, including all of California and most of Oregon and Washington, except for those in internment/concentration camps.
The Supreme Court upholds the action, and it is not until the 1980s, due to a courageous suit brought by some of those impacted, that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals judges the action to be unconstitutional.

The United States Census Bureau assists the government internment efforts by providing confidential neighbourhood information on Japanese Americans. The Bureau denies its role for decades afterwards, but this is finally proven in 2007.
(In 1988, US Congress passes and President Ronald Reagan signs legislation which apologizes for this internment on behalf of the US government. The legislation says that government actions were based on 'race prejudice, war hysteria, and a failure of political leadership'. The US government eventually disburses more than $1.6 billion in reparations to Japanese Americans who had been interned and their heirs.)

Dear Fellow Party Member [Parteigenosse] Luther!
Enclosed I am sending you the minutes of the proceedings that took place on January 20,1942.
Since the basic position regarding the practical execution of the final solution of the Jewish question has fortunately been established by now, and since there is a full agreement on the part of all agencies involved. I would like to ask you at the request of the Reich Marshal to make one of your specialist officials available for the necessary discussion of details in connection with the completion of the draft that shows the organizational, technical and material prerequisites bearing on the actual starting point of the projected solutions.
I want to schedule the first discussion along these lines for 10:30 a.m. on March 6, 1942 at 116 Kurfürstenstrasse, Berlin. I therefore ask you that for this purpose your specialist official contact my functionary in charge there, SS-Obersturmbannführer Eichmann.

(Captain) ALOIS BRUNNER, commander of a train of Jews being deported from Vienna to Riga, shoots and kills the well-known financier SIGMUND BOSEL, who, although ill, had been hauled out of a Vienna hospital and placed on the train. (In 1944, this Brunner is sent by Adolf Eichmann to Slovakia to oversee the deportation of Jews. After the war he escapes to Syria, where he takes the pseudonym 'Dr. Georg Fischer'. Later, West Germany's intelligence agency BND helps protect his identity to use him as an informant.)

The Bataan Death March (Japanese: バターン死の行進 Hepburn: Batān Shi no Kōshin?, Filipino: Martsa ng Kamatayan sa Bataan) begins the forcible transfer by the Imperial Japanese Army of 60,000–80,000 Filipino and American prisoners of war from Saisaih Point and Mariveles to Camp O'Donnell, Capas, Tarlac, via San Fernando, Pampanga, where the prisoners were loaded onto trains. Approximately 12,300 prisoners of war die in the forced march.
World War 2
In Poland – The Sobibór Extermination Camp for Jews and Soviet prisoners of war is completed by the German Nazis,
An eye-witness, Philip Bialowitz, describes his experience –
On arrival "an SS officer gave them a welcome speech. He apologized... for the inconvenience in travel and said they would now be relocated. He told them to write a postcard for their loved ones back home to assure them everyone was OK. Some clapped their hands and shouted: 'Bravo'. After the postcards were completed, the Germans told them: Now you have to take a shower and be disinfected. A guard collected watches and jewelry and gave them fake receipts for their later pick-up. Then the unwitting people were sent down the Himmelsfahrtstrasse, the 'Road to Heaven'… " which led directly to the gas chambers.

1942 Palestine coin
in Arabic, English and Hebrew during the British Mandate
Biltmore Hotel, in New York – 600 Jewish Zionist delegates, including Zionist leaders from 18 countries, resolve –
"that Palestine be established as a Jewish Commonwealth",
being a radical departure from the world Zionist focus of practically building the Jewish National Home in Palestine. The change of direction is largely a reaction to the British White Paper of 1939 which would limit Jewish immigration to Palestine resulting in Jews always being a minority. This Biltmore Program ultimately results in the right-wing Revisionist Zionists rejoining the movement.
The declaration reads –
American Zionists assembled in this Extraordinary Conference reaffirm their unequivocal devotion to the cause of democratic freedom and international justice to which the people of the United States, allied with the other United Nations, have dedicated themselves, and give expression to their faith in the ultimate victory of humanity and justice over lawlessness and brute force.
This Conference offers a message of hope and encouragement to their fellow Jews in the Ghettos and concentration camps of Hitler-dominated Europe and prays that their hour of liberation may not be far distant.
The Conference sends its warmest greetings to the Jewish Agency Executive in Jerusalem, to the Va`ad Leumi, and to the whole Yishuv in Palestine, and expresses its profound admiration for their steadfastness and achievements in the face of peril and great difficulties...
In our generation, and in particular in the course of the past twenty years, the Jewish people have awakened and transformed their ancient homeland; from 50,000 at the end of the last war their numbers have increased to more than 500,000. They have made the waste places to bear fruit and the desert to blossom. Their pioneering achievements in agriculture and in industry, embodying new patterns of cooperative endeavour, have written a notable page in the history of colonization.
In the new values thus created, their Arab neighbours in Palestine have shared. The Jewish people in its own work of national redemption welcomes the economic, agricultural and national development of the Arab peoples and states. The Conference reaffirms the stand previously adopted at Congresses of the World Zionist Organization, expressing the readiness and the desire of the Jewish people for full cooperation with their Arab neighbours.
The Conference calls for the fulfillment of the original purpose of the Balfour Declaration and the Mandate which recognizing the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine was to afford them the opportunity, as stated by President Wilson, to found there a Jewish Commonwealth. The Conference affirms its unalterable rejection of the [British] White Paper of May 1939 and denies its moral or legal validity. The White Paper seeks to limit, and in fact to nullify Jewish rights to immigration and settlement in Palestine, and, as stated by Mr. Winston Churchill in the House of Commons in May 1939, constitutes `a breach and repudiation of the Balfour Declaration'. The policy of the White Paper is cruel and indefensible in its denial of sanctuary to Jews fleeing from Nazi persecution; and at a time when Palestine has become a focal point in the war front of the United Nations, and Palestine Jewry must provide all available manpower for farm and factory and camp, it is in direct conflict with the interests of the allied war effort.
In the struggle against the forces of aggression and tyranny, of which Jews were the earliest victims, and which now menace the Jewish National Home, recognition must be given to the right of the Jews of Palestine to play their full part in the war effort and in the defence of their country, through a Jewish military force fighting under its own flag and under the high command of the United Nations.
The Conference declares that the new world order that will follow victory cannot be established on foundations of peace, justice and equality, unless the problem of Jewish homelessness is finally solved. The Conference urges that the gates of Palestine be opened; that the Jewish Agency be vested with control of immigration into Palestine and with the necessary authority for upbuilding the country, including the development of its unoccupied [?] and uncultivated lands [?, see Asher Guinsburg in 1891 eye-witness description]; and that Palestine be established as a Jewish Commonwealth integrated in the structure of the new democratic world.
Then and only then will the age old wrong to the Jewish people be righted.

Opposition to this Biltmore Program of Jewish nationalism also leads to the founding of the anti-Zionist American Council for Judaism (an organization of American Jews committed to the proposition that Jews are not a nationality but a religious group, adhering to the original stated principles of Reform Judaism articulated by its 1885 Pittsburgh Platform).

The U.S. is disloyal
to its own citizens
The Japanese invade Attu, one of Alaska’s Aleutian Islands, imprisoning more than three dozen U.S. citizens. The prisoners are Aleuts, an indigenous group that had inhabited these and the Pribilof Islands for more than 8,000 years.
American code breakers knew the attack was coming — they had intercepted the Japanese plan sometime in May or June of 1942 but the Allied forces in Europe took priority over combat in the Pacific theater. Despite its vulnerable position between Japan and the continental United States, Alaska has few defenses, and plans to evacuate its civilians are only half-baked.
Just four days into the Attu bombing, the Japanese begin an 18-hour raid on the island of Kiska that forces the U.S. government to act. Within days, in a flurry of total chaos, the U.S. Army began to evacuate Aleut communities. But the ship that arrived to rescue the refugees delivered them into a different kind of hell. There was no plan. Not even the captain of the USAT Delarof knew where the boat was headed. For two weeks, 560 evacuees from the Pribilovian towns of St. George and St. Paul were stranded on a vessel meant to carry 376 passengers, with only a single toilet between them.
The journey is only the start. Over the course of the next three years, the U.S. government refuses to allow the Aleuts to return home, giving them no choice but to live in squalor in substandard internment camps in which 10 percent of the population do not survive. For these injustices, the Aleuts are given paltry compensation that would arrive decades too late. Their story exemplifies the American attitude toward its indigenous people. At best, they are a nuisance; at worst, their needs are entirely invisible.
In Ležáky, as part of Nazi Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia (today Lidice in the Czech Republic) – German forces in reprisal for the assassination of Reich Protector Reinhard Heydrich execute 173 men over 16 years of age, Another 11 men who are not in the village are arrested and executed soon afterwards along with several others already under arrest. Several hundred women and over 100 children are deported to concentration camps; a few children considered racially suitable for German-isation are handed over to SS families and the rest are sent to the Chelmno extermination camp where they are gassed to death

(Liberated after three years in concentration camps, Frankl returned to Vienna and during 1945 he wrote his world-famous book entitled, Trotzdem Ja Zum Leben Sagen: Ein Psychologe Erlebt das Konzentrationslager (translated as "Saying Yes to Life in Spite of Everything: A Psychologist Experiences the Concentration Camp", known in English by the title Man's Search for Meaning [1959]).
In this book, he described the life of an ordinary concentration camp inmate from the objective perspective of a psychiatrist.

The bombing raids, however, have shown what the enemy has in store for us if he had the power. Those at the front experience it at every turn. My comrades literally are fighting for the existence of our Volk. They are doing the same that the enemy would do [to us]. I believe that you understand me.

England – Juan Pujol Garcia, codename Agent Garbo moves to England from Barcelona, Spain, after persuading the Germans that he would spy for them. He works with Britain's MI5 to create a whole network of entirely imaginary agents, feeding misinformation to the Nazis, culminating in the ultimate triumph: a leading role in securing the success of the D-Day landings by convincing the Germans the main invasion would happen around Calais, not in Normandy. He fooled the Germans so completely they award him the Iron Cross. His wife Araceli Gonzalez de Pujol (Mrs Garbo) resented kiving in England. Agent Garbo is able to go on to help deceive the Germans so thoroughly that for two months after the June 1944 D-Day landings, they kept two armoured divisions and 19 infantry divisions waiting in the Pas de Calais for an invasion that would never come. On 29 July 1944, to Garbo's great amusement, he is informed he has been awarded the Iron Cross by Hitler himself for his "extraordinary services".

In the 1940s, the US government launches a program to relocate some 2,200 Latin Americans of Japanese descent from their home countries to detention facilities in the US. They were taken under the pretence of a World War II prisoner exchange, but only 865 detainees were ultimately sent to Japan via the program. Several hundred others found themselves in a fight for justice that continues today.
In the immediate aftermath of the 1941 attack on Pearl Harbor, the FBI made its first arrests of Japanese American leaders and held them in detention facilities and jails across Hawaii and the West Coast. The panic spread to Latin America too, and within 48 hours blacklists of Japanese businessmen, community leaders, teachers, and others appeared in Peruvian newspapers.
