COMMENTARY
19:5
And a voice came out from the throne, saying,
'Praise our God, all His servants, those who fear Him, the small and the great.'

19:6-8
And I heard a sound of a great crowd, and as a sound of many waters and as a sound of loud thunders, saying,
'Hallelujah. Because the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigned.
Let us rejoice and exult, and we will give the glory to Him,
because the marriage of the little Lamb has come, and His wife has prepared herself,
and it was given to her that she might be clothed with bright clean fine linen;
for the fine linen is the righteous deeds of the saints.'
His Bride completed!
19:9
And he says to me,
'Write,
Blessed are those who called to the supper of the marriage of the little Lamb.'
And he says to me,
'These words of God are true.'

19:10
And I fell before his feet to worship him.
And he says to me,
'See you do it not:
I am your fellow-slave and of your brothers, having the witness of Jesus.
Worship God. For the witness of Jesus is the Spirit of prophecy.'

19:11-16
And I saw Heaven opened; and see, a white horse, and the One sitting on it called faithful and true, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. And His eyes are as a flame of fire, and on His head are many diadems, and a name written which no one knows except Himself, and clothed with a garment dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God.
And the armies in Heaven followed Him on white horses, clothed in white clean linen.
And out of His mouth proceeds a sharp sword, so that with it He may strike the nations; and He will shepherd them with an iron staff: and He treads the winepress of the wine of the anger of the wrath of God, the Almighty.
And He has on His garment, on His thigh, a name written,
'King of Kings, and Lord of Lords.'
Final showdown!
19:17,18
And I saw one angel standing in the sun, and he cried in a loud voice, saying to all the birds flying in mid-heaven,
'Come, assemble to the great supper of God,
so that you may eat flesh of kings, and flesh of chiliarchs,
and the flesh of strong men, and flesh of horses and of those sitting on them,
and the flesh of all both men and slaves, and small and great.'
In contrast to the Marriage Supper.
19:19
And I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies assembled to make war with the One sitting on the horse and with His army.

19:20,21
And the beast was seized, and with it the false prophet, the one that did signs before it, by which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those worshipping its image. The two were thrown alive into the lake of fire burning with sulphur. And the rest were killed with the sword proceeding out of the mouth of the One sitting on the horse, and all the birds were filled by their flesh.

20:1-3
And I saw an angel coming down out of Heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold of the dragon, the old serpent, which is Devil and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, and threw him into the abyss, and shut and sealed over him, so that he should not deceive the nations longer, until the thousand years are finished; after these things he must be loosed a little time.

20:4,5
And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgement was given to them, and I saw the lives of those beheaded because of the witness of Jesus and because of the word of God, and who did not worship the beast nor its image, and did not receive the mark on theit forehead and on their hand; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (The rest of the dead did not live again until the thousand years were finished). This is the first resurrection.

20:6
Blessed and holy is the one having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and will reign with him the thousand years.

20:7-10
And when the thousand years are finished, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, and will go forth to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to assemble them to the war, of whom the number is as the sand of the sea.
And they went up over the breadth of the earth, and encircled the camp of the saints, and the beloved city, and fire came down out of Heaven, and devoured them. And the Devil that deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulphur, where also the beast and the false prophet are, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.
