SICKENING WARTS ON THE FACE OF CHRISTIANITY
— Sadly, six out of these seven being in the 'Christian' USA
SO
SICKENINGLY
SELF-RIGHTEOUS

1.
Westboro Baptist Church, Topeka, Kansas, USA
(misled by abusive Fred Waldron Phelps, who died 19 March 2014).
Westboro Baptist Church, Topeka, Kansas
The-'God-Hates'-crowd
who continually take
God's name in vain!
(He knows better now!)
The Baptist World Alliance and the Southern Baptist Convention (the two largest Baptist groups)
have both denounced the Westboro Baptist Church (Calvinist) over the years.
They
earned public attention with their slogan of "God Hates Fags" concerning their approach to homosexuality, and their website even went a little further with – "God Hates America".
See:
Homosexuality
&
Calvinism's Corruptions
When I queried their approach by referring them to the Gospel of John chapter three, which reads –
"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through Him."

(John 3:16-17).
they responded to me by claiming that the Bible's word 'world' meant 'Christians' and only Christians; that is, Christ died for the elect; an old heresy invented by Augustine and replicated by Calvin and those infected by his theology.
An
honest approach to Holy Scripture, which appears outside the scope of their perspective, will show immediately that this New Testament term 'kosmos' (κόσμος), translated as 'world' above, is used by John in the same Gospel to refer to those who did not believe in Jesus and therefore could not receive His Spirit (John.14:17), and so were certainly not Christians.
Their spiritual
identity/character is well portrayed in their vicious public attack on South Africa's recently deceased Nelson Mandela (who after his more than 27-years in prison (set up by America's CIA) had been instrumental in bringing national reconciliation to that country and avoiding a bloody civil-war) by claiming that Mandela is burning in hell,
in a series of tweets and a slanderous video on their website to that effect.
The Damned Hypocrites
will burn!
Their justification for their brutal public condemnation is his divorce (resulting from his wife's unfaithfulness during his years in prison), so their congregation needs to be publicly informed that if Mandela is consequently damned to hell then so is God eternally damned also, for He divorced Israel for its unfaithfulness to Himself (Isaiah 50:1 and Jeremiah 3:8).
Any association with this group is a blasphemy of the character of Christ and an address for the delivery of the inevitable judgment of God.

2.
Dove World Outreach Center, Gainsville, Florida, USA   (What a misnomer!)

Terry
Jones
5200 NW 43 STREET SUITE 102 #188 GAINESVILLE, FL 32606
Classified
as a Hate Group by the nonprofit civil-rights organisation Southern Poverty Law Center, 'Dove World' (perhaps indicative of their bird-brained cranial capacity) has earned public attention by its blatant public hostility to Islam –
extending even to the public burning of the Qur'an.
Spiritually,
the rights and wrongs done in the name of Islam are not the issue. The Bible gives us an eloquent example in the Apostle Paul's inspired statement concerning the pre-Christian Greeks worship of their god Zeus in quoting the words of their pagan poet Aratus (“Phaenom.” v.5), and in Cleanthus' hymn to Zeus –
"Yet He is actually not far from each one of us, for
– 'In Him we live and move and have our being' –
as even some of your own poets have said,
– 'For we are indeed His offspring' –"

(Acts 17:27-28).
If this
See:
'Christian' Fallacies
was then said of Zeus in Holy Scripture, every Christian should take serious note that the New Testament term for 'theos' (θεός) translated as 'God' in English is always translated as 'Allah' in all Christian translations of the New Testament into Arabic. There is no-other-word-for-God in Arabic. So, if the Apostle Paul had any right to say as he said, it behoves every Christian everywhere today to treat with respect that which encourages submission to Allah as does the Qur'an (Koran in the American dialect).
Yet,
See: Islâm & God
Dove World chooses to publicly burn the Qur'an, in total disregard of the effect of this behaviour upon the lives of Christians in Islamic countries. This callous self-righteous disregard is to be more than repudiated by others.
Every
person associated in any way with this kind of behaviour is to be socially disassociated from all personal Christian association in terms of the Bible's clear teaching in Romans 16:17; 1 Timothy 6:20; and 2 Timothy 2:16; 3:5.
Any association with this group is a blasphemy of the character of Christ and an address for the delivery of the inevitable judgment of God.

3.
Kevin Swanson of Colorado's 'Reformation Church' (of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church), USA
Who
AS AT JANUARY 28, 2014.
denounces Disney's beautiful Oscar-winning animation 'Frozen' as "very evil" promoting 'lesbianism' and 'bestiality', and so characterises Disney as a 'satanic company'.

which achieved headlines around the world
for blind bigotry in Christianity!

4.
Rod Parsley, senior pastor of World Harvest Church, Columbus, Ohio, USA.
Strangely
founder and president of
The Center for Moral Clarity.

See:
Common 'Christian' Fallacies
His misleading right-wing politics grossly misdirects the essence of the Bible's message and perverts the whole purpose of the gospel of Jesus Christ –
" I do not believe our country can truly fulfill its divine purpose until we understand our historical conflict with Islam. I know that this statement sounds extreme, but I do not shrink from its implications. The fact is that America was founded, in part, with the intention of seeing this false religion destroyed, and I believe September 11, 2001, was a generational call to arms that we can no longer ignore" (in Silent No More, Charisma House, 2005)

5. Pastor Steven L. Anderson, of Faithful Word Baptist Church, Tempe, Arizona, USA
In August
2009, Anderson states in a sermon that he is praying for the death of President Barack Obama, which makes mockery of the Bible's command in 1 Peter 2:17. Illogically also, his 'church' teaches that the old 1611AD King James translation of the Bible (rather than in its original languages) is the error-free inspired version of the Bible, and also the escapist pre-tribulation rapture doctrine of a dual second-coming, unknown in church history or the Bible until it was invented by John Darby in 1830.
In addition to drawing a salary from his congregation, Anderson also owns a fire alarm installation business.
Classified as a hate-group leader, Anderson has been banned from the United Kingdom, Botswana and from South Africa.
The South African banning was in response to a widely supported public petition to not allow his hate-mongering into that country.

6.
Irvin Baxter of Richardson, Texas, USA – founder and president of EndTime Ministries

His
terrible twisting of Holy Scripture in contradiction to its context leads him, among other, to classify the Palestinians (among whom are many hundreds of sincere Christians) as the people of the Antichrist against whom Jesus warned –
"The Bible indicates that the peace agreement between Israelis and the Palestinians will be a seven-year agreement. Apparently, leaving Jews to live in Judea under the Palestinian government will work for the first three and one-half years. However, when the Abomination of Desolation occurs halfway through the seven-year agreement, Palestinian anger will be ignited. Palestinians will launch brutal attacks against those Jews living in their midst. That’s the reason Jesus warned the Jews of Judea that they would have to run for their lives, saying, 'Then shall be great tribulation such as never has been before nor ever again shall be'." (from his blog)

7.
Pastor Jean Uwinkindi, Kanzenze Pentecostal Church, Kigali, Rwanda
1994 massacre of minority Tutsi ethnic group. 2,000 bodies were found near his church in Kanzenze. Verdict of the Rawandan court reads: "The court finds that there were killings of the Tutsi at Rwankeri and Kanzenze hills and that the attacks were led by [pastor] Uwinkindi" (December 2015) and so he is sentenced to life imprisonment.
