|The Destruction of Death|
|DEATH – that merciless violator of hope!|
Sucking life from air-starved lungs; crushing, bruising, breaking;
denying the very function of every part! Obliterating life!
|How||the nations fear you!|
|A thousand thoughts flicker and die as the stuttering pulse fails,
and one by one each body function denies its own existence.
|Pale veins, numb nerves, stiffened sinew, all agree to make nothing of something –|
|UNTIL THE CHRIST CAME|
|Violating the Violator!|
|He did not turn back its ravages, or reverse its cruel deeds.|
|from within the moment of putrefaction,|
He pressed forward, onward, upward, breaking new,
beyond the limits of functional design,
for all those who follow Him
forever . . .
