When  Satan is Cast Out!
"And I heard a loud voice in Heaven, saying –
'Now the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come,
for the Accuser-of-our-brothers has been thrown down,
who accuses them day and night before our God'."
Final Precondition

to Christ's Return
for Satan no longer has a
valid accusation to bring
against Christ's people!
Revelation 12:10.
Christian religionists,
professional and otherwise, have applied this statement on the casting out of Satan to the original rebellion of Satan against God,
as though his sinful condition simply caused his expulsion from Heaven's Court,
but this is NOT what the Bible is saying, here or elsewhere!
book of Job illustrates to us that God's Court in Heaven is not a court of royal regalia but a court of justice, a place to which all created moral beings are therefore accountable, including every angelic being, fallen or otherwise.
long after Satan's initial rebellion against God before Adam's time, he is here presented to us as still directly accountable for his ongoing behaviour to this Holy Court of Ultimate Justice – God's Throne.
To help us understand this, the Bible says –
"Now there was a day when the sons of God [Semitic term for divine-beings/angels]
came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them."
Job 1:6. Concerning
their accountability
Here the
Lord God Himself sets the tone of this accountability in questioning Satan on his movements, and then by challenging his influence in the field of his strength, earth, drawing Satan's attention to Job's righteous behaviour. In this interaction, Satan, in retaliation, questions Job's motives (which, of course, always sets the moral character of behaviour), and so, completely unknown to Job, the scenario begins to play out in his life, as presented to us in this inspired book, of Job's deprivation of every benefit that could have provided any ulterior motive for his continuing righteous behaviour before God, to demonstrate that, unlike Satan's kingdom, God's kingdom is not based on selfishness/self-interest.

God's answer to Job, as to the reason for allowing bad things to happen to the righteous (chapters 38-41), is simply to tell us that we do not have the intellectual capacity to understand.
So Job says –
"I did not understand,
things too wonderful for me,
which I did not know"

(Job 42:3).
That this
accusatory-Court-conduct of Satan is not unique to Job's time, is shown to us by Christ's own reference to it, regarding the precious presumptuous Peter as His disciple. Using his birth-name, the Lord Jesus, knowing Peter's psychological vulnerability and his response in the soon coming crisis, says to him –
"Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded [before the Throne] to have you, that he might sift you like wheat,
but I have prayed for you
[before the Throne of Heaven's Court] that your faith may not fail.
And when you have turned again
[from Peter's coming failure], strengthen your brothers'."
Luke 22:31-32.
should make it clear that because God is Righteous, and therefore as Just as any impartial judge, Satan does have legal access to the Court of Heaven as a prosecutor/accuser of God's people –
and that he uses this to impugn God's impartiality in the light of alleged unrighteousness among God's people.
This is why intercessory prayer at the Throne is absolutely necessary in supporting each other through life's experiences. per Christ's example!
But the
Bible also tells us that there is a time coming in which Satan, in his specific capacity as "Accuser of the brethren" against our spiritual family, will be thrown out of this Court . . .
– for it is a time when even this arch Accuser will have nothing to say against God's people – and therefore no right to be there!
If anything does, this should influence our view of the future, of the so-called End-times ahead of us!
This therefore
is why the Holy Scripture informs us that, after Christ's ascension to the right hand of God to be our Intercessor/Advocate, Christ will not return   unless . . .
1 John 2:1
He will
not leave that place of intercession for us as our Advocate and come back to this world until...
the enemies of our Saviour have been brought into submission by His people
"The LORD says to my Lord: 'Sit at My right hand, UNTIL I make Your enemies Your footstool'...
Your people will offer themselves freely on the day of Your power, in holy garments;
from the womb of the morning, the dew of Your youth will be Yours."
Psalm 110:1, 3.
Hebrews 1:13; 12:2.

And the Bible
says that this "day of Your power" began – from the crucifixion of Jesus –
for, as Jesus said to Israel's high priest in the face of their judgement against Him –
"...from NOW on you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming on the clouds of heaven"
Matthew 26:64.
this completing spiritual triumph of the Christ in His people is further described in the climax of Holy Scripture in this chapter concerning the Court expulsion of Satan as –
"they have conquered him [Satan] by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony,
for they loved not their lives even unto death"
Revelation 12:11.
The split in
the coming of Israel's Messiah, Jesus the Christ of God, into a so-called first and second coming, was completely hidden from all, even from the angels of God, before the Christ came and the Holy Spirit was given.
It is the uniquely the people of God, the Heavenly Jerusalem, or Bride of the Christ, the people of this Hidden Time, who are the fulcrum upon which the end-time turns.

apostle Paul explains concerning earlier times that all the legacy of all that happened under the Old Covenant is an example to us, Christ's Church, upon which the hinge of history turns – not on a set of signs, but on a people to whom God gave His Spirit as He had given to Jesus at His baptism, that we might be His ministry in its completeness
"...these things happened to them (Israel) as an example,
but they were written down for our instruction,
ON WHOM the END of the ages HAS COME."
In other words –
1 Corinthians 10:11.

the People of God, the Church of Jesus, is the Hinge of History!
Not the organisation, or its ministry, but the people – the congregation, as His Body in this world!
The common

fallacy among the sincere, starting with John Darby in the 1830s, of splitting the return or second coming of Jesus into two parts;
– His coming to rescue His people from Tribulation and to take the resurrected to Heaven; and
– His coming back seven-years later with them to rule here on this earth;
completely contradicts this basic teaching of God's Word on the fundamental precondition of Christ's Return,
even though many preachers have embellished this double-return-ideology with many end-time quotes.
God's Word does not contradict itself!
Our understanding needs to use Holy Scripture as more than a text resource, but to begin to imbibe its own perspective!

Darby's Division
The Lord Jesus, in
the last week of His 3½-year ministry, connected this coming end-time moment to the obedience of His followers, saying –
"...this gospel of the kingdom [what Jesus had preached] will be proclaimed throughout the whole world
as a testimony
[of God] to all nations, and then the end will come."
Matthew 24:14
The people of God are the hinge of history because it is to them that this Commission was given, the fulfilment of which brings the End
But it must
not be thought that mission organisation, or having a Christian sample in every country on the planet, is the key to this completion of the Age, for Christian history has amply demonstrated that, in contrast to religious conversion/recruitment, true Gospel mission as Jesus intended is the fruit of spiritual life/Christian revival (not 'campaign'). This "gospel of the kingdom" which Christ preached, and to which the above Scripture refers, was not a stories about Jesus. It was the true revelation of God's character, to invite a faith in God beyond understanding (as Abraham had had).
instance, in the 20-years after the Moravian spiritual revival, they sent out more missionaries than the whole Christian Church had done in the preceding 200-years. Even the subsequent Methodist revival in Britain, which so impacted British society, was triggered by a Moravian missionary sharing a stage coach journey with the Wesley brothers (John and Charles) and following up with a personal visit.
Christian Mission, which brings this age to its completion, is simply the fruit of Christ's life in Christ's people.
Therefore the

secret rapture here!
apostle Peter made it clear, after he himself had "turned again" and become a strengthener of God's people, that –
"what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,
waiting for and hastening
[by obedience] the coming of the day of God,
because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn!"
So "hastening" the end, or causing it to come quicker, is by the spiritual growth of God's people, the root of Christian missions!
2 Peter 3:11-13.
In other words,
our obedience
directly affects the
time of Christ's return!
For this reason
Satan's expulsion, of now no longer having access to Heaven's Court as Accuser, is described as the basis for his unparalleled anger, for he therefore knows that his time (before his confinement) is short – 1,260 days;
which now provokes the need in world history for the special protection of Israel (not the current political State of Israel, the fake) from Satan's vengeance during this strictly limited final time of 3½-years, or 42-months.
See: The Time
Hidden in the
It is
for this reason that the angelic agency which expels Satan from his access to Heaven's Court is specifically led by Michael. Michael is not the top-angel. He is simply presented in Holy Scripture as –
"Michael, the great prince who has charge of your [Daniel's] people.
And there shall be a time of trouble, such as never has been since there was a nation till that time"
Revelation 12:12-17.
For it is now
this end-time crisis concerning Israel (not the current Zionist political state), in these last 3½-years before Christ returns, that divides the world into some motivated by Satan as "a flood" of nations to annihilate Israel, and others who in reaction oppose it, in this final war, which is described elsewhere as Armageddon and which Christ's Return then ends, or else all human life would have been destroyed as Jesus Himself had said (Matt.24:22).
So the

& Christ's Return
coming end of this age does not turn on worldly or physical signs of any kind, either in nature or among the nations, but upon those who bring it to completion
the people of God, in their obedience to the Holy Spirit, just as Jesus obeyed Him,
to initiate the second/completing-half of this final Week/Seven of Daniel's Seventy Weeks prophecy (Dan.9:27), which began in the baptism of Jesus to be the Christ of God,
1,260-days before He ended forever the Jewish temple's "sacrifice and offering" (in the midst of Daniel's final Seven)
in His Atoning Death before God for all humanity.
Daniel 9:27 uses
גּבר/Gâbar, which can only mean 'confirm' an existing covenant,
i.e. God's covenant!
So it is our obedience as believers which directly affects the conclusion of this age and the Coming of the Kingdom of God in the glory of Christ's single return!
So, inasmuch as the Return of Christ is not 'imminent', as has been so commonly taught in contradiction of Scripture,
– the End does not come by waiting, but by doing! –
